MY ANIMAL HEART

Greetings to my fellow animal lovers (If you are not an animal lover, by all means please keep it moving)! It is my pleasure to enlighten you with my very first blog. I have an animal heart that exudes a deep love and compassion for every living creature on this earth.  If I see a dead animal on the side of the road, I instantaneously get upset, say a prayer, and proceed to stew about it for the next few hours. If I see a story in the news about abuse or any horrific act committed against an animal, my heart breaks and I will think about it for days. Oh and please, do not squash a bug in front of me! As of recent, I have decided to start my own business in order to revolve my life around what I’m truly passionate about; animals. I no longer wanted to work for the man but work for my self and cultivate something that is completely mine, something that I can be proud of. So I have done just that. I quit my J-O-B in banking and simply went for it! All in! Head first! I know many people think that I have completely lost it, and to a certain degree they are correct. I could no longer ignore my passion and the constant plague in my heart derived from not fulfilling my true purpose; taking care of animals. I chose to start with what I know and what I’m good at. Baby steps. My business is structured to give pet parents peace of mind, while their loved ones stay happy and healthy. It’s a pretty simple concept. I will be dog walking, providing over-night care, doing drop-in visits and grooming for dogs and cats. I will also be producing my very own hand crafted pet accessories — more on that later. Over time, I hope to expand my brand in order to open my own pet daycare center / dog & cat sanctuary. I have 4 animals of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats. The business name, Propper Pet comes from a combination of my dog’s names; Prince and Copper. I can honestly say that they are my world. And it’s safe to say that my kids “run me.” My life would be incomplete without them. In my free time, instead of going out for a night on the town or spending time with my fellow humans, I am always happier and content sitting at home hanging out with my pets. Besides, they are way more fun than any humans…Hello! I would literally rescue and adopt every dog and cat in this world if I could because let’s face it, humans are idiots (don’t believe me? click here). Sadly, that is not realistic but I do secretly hope to win big on the lotto so I could have a small chance in doing so. But for now, this is the beginning of my journey on my path to true happiness. And giving the love I possess to every creature on this earth. So all you humans out there reading this may be asking yourselves, what’s in it for me? Why should I read this blog if I’m such an idiot? Well, even though you may not always make smart decisions, following this blog should be a freebie for all you animal lovers like me! I will periodically be posting helpful hints, tricks, and little known facts about animals none other than right here!  These will be elements of care that identify with the practices in my business and will hopefully bring a lot of value to your pet’s daily life. Sooo…Even if you aren’t in the market for pet services and awesome handcrafted accessories, you’ll probably always be in the market for making your pet’s life a memorable one!
